HOW TO HELP

Aims

The Friends of the the Horniman is a registered charity which aims to:

  • encourage and promote activities taking place in the Museum and Gardens
  • initiate fund-raising projects, social and educational events, in order to further public interest
  • assist in the improvement of facilities
  • recruit volunteers to support the Museum and Gardens

Benefits

Friends of the Horniman receive the following benefits:

  • Invitations to private views at the Horniman
  • Copies of the Friends Newsletter with feature articles and details of forthcoming events
  • Special lectures, concerts, Museum and Garden visits as part of the fund raising program
  • Invitations to Friends social functions
  • Become involved in the planning of events and activities to benefit the Museum and the local community

Subscription

Membership costs only £10.00 per year and subscriptions run from May to May. Associate Membership is available for overseas members at £13.00 per year, and Corporate Membership at £30.00 per year.

Unfortunately the Friends cannot accept payment by Direct Debit or Standing Order, or by Credit or Debit Card. If you feel you can include a donation as well it will be very gratefully received.

Friends events

Friends of the Horniman Art Exhibition
Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July: 10am - 5pm
Exhibition and sale of paintings, prints, and sculptures by local artists. All funds raised go to the Friends of the Horniman.
